50 years and counting!

Louise and Ray have been married 50 years. We had a nice little session a few weeks ago. Well, maybe not so little. Between their children, grandkids, spouses, and great-grandkids we had 26 people to photograph!

Their daughter, Linda, got the family together for the shoot and everyone wore blue. The best part was they were all so nice and fun to be around.

What a testament to love, faith, and family they are!

Doggies and new equipment

I have a wedding to do this weekend (can't wait) and I picked up some new equipment. Not very exciting: a westcott umbrella and bracket. I'll use this with my assistant holding the umbrella and flash off-camera (wireless). I was just messiing around and decided to take a few shots of Tanzie & Lola. I couldn't resist!

Rock & Roll Photography - back in the day...

Back in the early 80's, I was privileged enough to be associated with some great, local musicians and record entreprenuers. I worked on a number of album covers doing design and photography. Here are a few images from the 'old days' I wanted to show you. Click to enlarge.

True Love Trumps NYC Traffic / The Brenizer Method

This technique by photographer Ryan Brenizer is about the coolest thing I've ever seen. Really inventive and creative. I'm going to try some this weekend. Stay Tuned!
